An AccuWash Truck Wheel Wash System is being used to clean the wheels, tyres and underbodies of trucks exiting Brisbane City Council’s Legacy Way tunnel project in Queensland. Supplied by AccuWash’s Queensland branch, the Truck Wheel Wash System features an automatic washing operation which is triggered by vehicles nearing the wheel wash.

The AccuWash Truck Wheel Wash is designed to remove dust, soil, mud and other organic materials from trucks to minimise potential trackout of organic material onto public roads. AccuWash’s G01EX Truck Wheel Wash is fitted with numerous environmentally friendly devices to minimise water usage while a powered conveyor scraper continuously removes sludge from the water storage tank and into an external holding bin.

For improved water quality, a Hydro-Cyclone Solids Separator removes sand, soil, grit and other solid matter from the recycled water for improved truck wheel washing performance. AccuWash’s Truck Wheel Wash System was installed immediately before a 20 metre long weighbridge which is used for weighing vehicles carrying spoil from the site.

The AccuWash Truck Wheel Wash Systems are ideal for busy work sites like quarries, mine sites and landfill operations and can be serviced by eight AccuWash branches across Australia.
